Today marks the last day of Term 2, 2020.

What an extraordinary term this has been!

So much has changed over this term so quickly and at every stage it seemed like there was a new challenge: remote learning, remote working, and massive additional workloads for public servants.


On Wednesday the state government voted for legislative amendments to the Industrial Relations Act 2016 to give effect to the Premier’s announcement that there would be a 'wage freeze' in the 2020/2021 financial year.

Yesterday was certainly a great day with our Education Agreement being certified by the Industrial Relations Commission.


The journey to pay equity with your colleagues in Queensland Health has now spanned more than a decade. Today we have finally had our new Agreement certified which locks in the translation of therapists who are Professional Officers to the Health Practitioner stream.
