Staff blamed for late delivery of transcripts.

Have you received the recent email from Auscript senior management that is blaming staff sick leave for the late delivery of transcripts?

Taking sick leave, that you are entitled to, does not impact Auscript’s clients. Staff should be using their sick leave entitlements if they are not well enough to work. If you have any questions about your entitlements, please contact us at privatesector@together.org.au.

Update on consultation.

The ASU, nationally, have lodged a dispute with the Fair work Commission (FWC) regarding consultation. A bulletin has been released which outlines the Commissioner's recommendations for an improved consultation process in Auscript. You can read more about this meeting HERE.

VIQ Contract.

ASU Together members have also raised concerns about the awarding of a USD $1.2 million contract to VIQ to provide digital capture and management of official court records. Members have decided to seek clarification from management via a letter on how this may impact them. You can see the letter HERE.

You can read Auscript's response to our letter, HERE.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions about the information that has been provided. You can contact us at privatesector@together.org.au

We encourage you to share this email with your colleagues and remind them to join your union so they can have a say on these matters as well.
