What does PSBA mean?

Posted January 9, 2014 by Together Queensland

Many staff in different agencies have been told that they are now working - or will soon be working for a new body with the nondescript name of PSBA, or Public Safety Business Agency.

What will this mean for your conditions and your working arrangements?

Union members and delegates have many questions about these changes and it's important that staff have the opportunity to be properly consulted about them.

There are questions about what this new entity will mean for reporting lines, for staff working conditions, and terms of employment.

The best way to get answers and certainty from the government is to ensure that union members are part of an active and strong communications network in their workplace.

To help build this communications network, please email psba@together.org.au with your name, workplace and phone number.

The steering committee will help ensure that management provide the answers that staff are looking for, and that our key conditions and entitlements are protected through this time of change.

Please email psba@together.org.au if you have any information or questions about PSBA - every piece of information helps.

PS. Apologies if you have received this email and are not transferring to PSBA. If you know someone who is moving or has moved, and did not receive this email, please forward it to them.
