Witness Statements – lodged!
The first big step in our arbitration process – where the independent umpire will decide on your wages and conditions for the next three years. We are ready to go!
We have many great witnesses – people like you – who have put into their statements the great reasons why your claims should be supported.
The hearings are in September. So Term 3 will be a key time for our arbitration!
School Support Staff Recognition Week – Get ready to celebrate and be recognised!
School support staff recognition week this year is the week commencing Monday 26 August. We will celebrate and recognise you this week!!
Packs from the union will be sent out early in Term 3.
It will be very timely with the hearings for equal pay, progression and our other important issues the following week.

One of the great new roles in every Education Region is the Schools Facilities Operations Advisor. This might be a job suited to experienced Schools Officers, AOs and BMs who know how facilities work in schools and the differences and challenges with cleaning and facilities management.
