Titles Registry Transfer update for DNRME

Posted on January 12, 2021

For those able to take a breather over the Christmas and New Year’s break, we hope you are well rested and ready for another eventful year!

On 18 December 2020, Alex Scott gave an online briefing to Together members in the Titles Registry Office regarding changes to your working arrangements. If you weren't able to make the briefing, you can watch the briefing here.

You can also see a summary of questions and answers here.

Tomorrow, all Titles staff have been invited by the Registrar to attend a meeting to further discuss the Queensland Future Fund and the Titles Registry transfer. Your delegate Rachel Barley and Together union staff will also attend the meeting to hear your questions and concerns.

We’ll provide a report back to members from the meeting and we will set up another Teams meeting for members later this week (details to come) to discuss next steps so you get a say in the process.

Building a strong union in your workplace is about members getting active in your union. I encourage you to watch out for ways you can become active in your union. There are many ways you can be active in your union including attending meetings with the employer or becoming a union delegate for your workplace.

Please get in contact if you would like to be more active in your union!

In union,

Your delegate Rachel, Olivia and the team at Together
