Public Trust Workforce Plan Update

Many of you will be aware a Workforce Plan was commenced in November 2011 and it has reached the next stage - that is the filling of AO3 positions in client services.

Your workplace delegates have been involved in this process from the beginning and have been providing member's feedback to management about the best way forward. 

It is members feedback which has meant that management are proposing specified advertising (more commonly referred to as closed merit) for these positions to ensure that recruitment is not only equitable but also allows for those who are currently working within those roles a strong opportunity to successfully apply for these roles.

As we head into this next phase we need your feedback as to whether you are happy to proceed with specified advertising for these positions.

Members views are critically important to the implementation of this next phase just as they have been through this whole process.

Job security and the opportunity to secure permanent employment is a critical issue at the moment - and we do have tight timeframes, so please give your feedback quickly.
