Next phase of the QFES AO2 & AO3 Admin Review
Many of you have spent hours working to finish your Job Analysis Questionnaires (JAQ) to articulate the requirements of your complex and critical roles.
The next phase is for QFES to combine the JAQs for roles to build accurate role descriptions for your jobs. These conversations have already started in some areas and will be rolling out in coming weeks for others.
Members who have participated in this process already have raised serious concerns about QFES being rushed and flippant regarding the details of your work. This isn’t good enough – you all deserve respect and dignity in this process.
I have written to QFES seeking an urgent meeting to raise these concerns on behalf of members and seek clarification for the process moving forward.
If you have any concerns you want raised as part of those meetings, please let me know by replying to this email.
It hasn’t been easy to get to this point. You have already fought against the odds to make sure that you are getting paid correctly for the critical work you do in QFES.
There is more work to do but you aren’t alone in this. Your union has your back every step of the way and your delegates won’t back down.
It’s going to take union members holding QFES to account throughout this process to win. If your colleagues care about this review but aren’t yet members, now is the time to ask them to join.
