LCCH transition – have your say!

Posted June 6, 2014 by Together Queensland

Dear members,

Along with many of you, on Wednesday I attended the LCHH transition forum at the Royal Children’s Hospital for both RCH and MCH senior medical staff. An update of the evening is available here for those that could not make it.

The key part of the evening was discussion of the senior medical staffing structure and process to fill positions. There is an implementation plan and an FTE comparison between the current RCH structure and the new structure at the LCCH. The Mater have not provided the Mater number or responded to our requests. You can petition the mater to do so here.

You now have the opportunity to provide feedback to the implementation for this transition either directly to Children’s Health Queensland or through our Union. Please email with your concerns, queries or interest and we will collate your feedback or be in touch with you to discuss further.

There is more detail and the document available on the Together website. Please circulate this email to your colleagues and encourage them to join you in this process as Together members by joining our union.

Yours in union,

Dan and the Together Health Team
