It's on: Stop work and rally against the 0% offer 1 William St, Monday 1:45pm

Posted on September 14, 2018

The government's unfair 0% wages offer - the lowest ever seen in collective bargaining for the Queensland public service - remains in place.

We've already seen big turnouts this week by members in schools across the state, who are taking action against the same unfair offer. Click here to see photos on FacebookNow it is your turn!

The lowest offer ever is not good enough. You deserve better. To change this unfair offer, union members must act. That's why delegates and members in the CBD have strongly endorsed stop work action and a rally on Monday.

Now it's up to you - come to the rally, take part in the stop work, and get your colleagues to come too!

The one hour stop work action will begin at 1:30pm on Monday 17 September.

The rally will be at 1 William Street, starting at 1:45pm and running for approximately 30 minutes.

The stop work event will be protected industrial action. You cannot be disciplined for taking part in this action.

To make this event a success, we need a crowd. Talk to your colleagues and bring them along! Every person makes a difference, every voice strengthens our call for a fair wages offer.

The government needs to know how you feel. Without action by union members, this unfair wages offer will continue into the future. Take a stand for fairness on Monday and ask your colleagues to join you.

I hope to see you at the rally on Monday!
