COVID-19 update for CQH members

Yesterday CHQ management met with all health unions about COVID-19 and how they are going to respond to the pandemic locally.

There is a dedicated team of management dealing with COVID-19 which we are able to contact at any time.

Management advised that they were in the process of developing and distributing a broad range of information regarding industrial entitlements for staff. If union members have any questions before this information is made available they can contact me, Alex Griffin, your organiser.

It was agreed that management and unions would meet regularly until the crisis was over. There will also be regular delegates meetings to discuss member issues prior to these meetings with management.

A lot of information is evolving in the current situation. Please read the advice your union office has sent out regarding the pandemic directive. We will continue to provide members with relevant information.
