Ballot: Delegates at Together, TCC Workplace Organising Committee

Ballots have opened to cast your vote for the Townsville Corrections Workplace Organising Committee - In-House Delegates at the Townsville Correctional Complex.

This is an opportunity for all Together financial members to have their say on their nominated In-House Delegates, to be part of building a stronger union in the Townsville Correctional Complex and Queensland Corrections as a whole.

The vote will be in writing, to be lodged at any time from Monday 11 November to Monday 25 November 2019.

As per instructions on the ballot paper:-

  1. Complete ballot form.
  2. Place voting form in the ‘Ballot’ envelope provided and seal it.
  3. Complete the address envelope - print your name (and membership number) and sign it.
  4. Enclose the sealed ballot envelope inside the addressed envelope.
  5. Place addressed envelope in the ballot boxes provided at TMCC Gatehouse/TWCC Gatehouse or Farm before closure on Monday 25 November 2019

Ballot forms are located beside the nomination boxes in both TCC and TWCC gatehouse and Men’s Farm and are also available on request from the Assistant Secretary, eric.blacklock@corrections.qld.gov.au and President, anthony.irving@corrections.qld.gov.au. Completed ballots can also be handed to the Assistant Secretary or the President prior to the closure, in the above format, for inclusion in the ballot.

If for any reason a nominated member chooses to withdraw their nomination, it must be done before Monday 25 November 2019.
