Arts members update - February 2021

Posted on February 10, 2021

There’s a lot happening in the Arts in 2021 so it's important that Together members are kept up to date! Click on the headings below to find out more about these topics.

Let's build a stronger union in the Arts this year!

Building a strong union in your workplace is about members getting active. The more union members are active, the fairer the processes are and the better the outcomes for you and your colleagues. There are many ways you can be active in your union, including attending meetings and reviews with the employer, or becoming a union delegate for your workplace.

The first step is to join your union! If you have been forwarded this email and would like to be involved in your union, you can join online securely here.

Being a union member doesn't just mean that you are a part of a collective that can bargain for better wages and conditions, you also have access to expert advice and representation too. Your union fees are also tax deductible and you have access to hundreds of member benefits and savings on everyday items. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about any of information provided, please feel free to get in touch with me by emailing eleanor.rogers@together.org.au.
