Following our win in the State Wage Case we have had it confirmed today that the 3% and back-pay to 1 September 2019 will be paid on 1 January 2020.


HPDOCA: Ballot next week

Our members' planned strike action last week forced Queensland Health's HPDOCA EB offer. Since that time, Together members have met in workplaces to discuss the offer, and our Together HPDOCA bargaining team have also been in meetings with Queensland Health to negotiate improvements to the current offer and seek clarification on some points.

Great news! The Queensland Industrial Relations Commission handed down their decision in the State Wage Case.

Together members have won!

The Commission has ordered a 3% pay increase for 2019, back paid to 1 September 2019.


Have your say on your Clinical Assistant EB offer

On Wednesday 13 November, Queensland Health made an offer to Clinical Assistants (as part of this offer to all HPs, Dental Officers and Clinical Assistants). 

This offer includes a raft of improvements for Clinical Assistants, including your own new “CA” structure (instead of “OO”), new higher wage rates for Clinical Assistants, plus more training budget allocations and a higher allowance for those with relevant qualifications. The qualifications allowance and training fund are both under a new scheme called VETIA.
