A better work value model

Posted by Alex Scott on January 31, 2012

Our school communities are important to admin staff, which is why over the past few years administrative staff have been taking on more and more roles and responsibilities to make sure students get the best outcomes possible. Your union's delegates have raised with Education Queensland that we can't just keep increasing workloads and duties  on staff.  The work that admin staff do is important,  and Education Queensland's 20-year old allocative model doesn't do justice to the value of that work.

Senior Payroll Specialist Progression update

Posted by Alex Scott on January 10, 2012

The working group has put together a Senior Payroll Specialist Progression document to be used as the basis for our negotiations with Queensland Health.  This document includes the Senior Payroll Specialist Position Description as well as the criteria and evidence for progression to AO4.  This document is not the final outcome but will be used as a starting point for discussions with the Department.  This is your chance to have a say in whether you support the proposed document as a starting point for moving forward.
