All police workers do an amazing job

Posted by Alex Scott on July 3, 2020

After hearing yesterday's announcement from the Minister and the Commissioner that sworn officers will receive an additional paid 2 weeks leave for being the 'frontline' response to the COVID-19 emergency, we know that many members, who work alongside sworn officers on the frontline, were surprised that this had not also been afforded to all of you.

The saga with Qantas over JobKeeper continues. Youth Detention: Important update on your EB

Posted by Together Queensland on June 25, 2020

Today we received this letter from A/Director General Phillip Brooks about your collective agreement or EB.

As you might remember, members gave in-principle agreement to this EB offer in December 2019, but the employee ballot, due to begin in April, was put on hold following the Premier’s announcement of a wage freeze. The EB has been in a holding pattern since then.
