Your wages and conditions in WorkCover

My name is Dan Goldman and I am an Industrial Officer from your union, Together. The WorkCover Employing Office - Certified Agreement 2016 (the document that contains your wages and conditions of employment) expires on 30 September this year and between now and then negotiations will occur between your union and the employer for a replacement agreement which will govern your wages and conditions of employment, usually for the next three years.

MOCA5 bargaining update

There's just over a week to go now until the expiry of the current MOCA4 Agreement! There is no offer on the table yet from Department of Health but we've been advised this should be coming by 26 June.

Recently the union office has become aware of a review being conducted by Deloitte (a private consulting firm) into AS&RS.

Many members have also heard about the review and alerted the union office to rumours circulating about it. I do not have much information and I am concerned that your voice will not be heard in this Review.

After conveying your concerns around the proposed spread of hours to Wesley Mission Queensland (WMQ), WMQ have agreed to not change the current spread of hours from 6am to 6pm to 6am to 8pm. This is a fantastic achievement!
