Public Holiday Payments for Transport Inspectors

It has been brought to your union's attention that Transport Inspector members haven't received their payment for a public holiday or a substituted day’s leave under clause 23.4 the Queensland Public Service Officers and Other Employees Award – State 2015 (‘Award’).
Workload Management Manual, Arbitration and MOG changes in Child Safety

Workload Management Manual (currently for Ongoing Intervention).
As Child Safety members would be aware, the Workload Management Manual is now being implemented for CSOs working Ongoing Intervention (OI) cases (though implementation has not yet started in Central Queensland).
Corrections: Agency Consultative Committee Update

Last week we had the first Agency Consultative Committee meeting for the year. In attendance from Together was myself (Darren), Michael Thomas and your delegates Craig Miller, Gavin Greer, Gordon Murray, Chris Mallcott, John Eagleton and Mark Webber (via Teams).
For those that aren't aware, this is where any issues that go to your Local Workplace Consultative Committee and are not resolve locally or issues that affects the Agency as a whole get discussed between union representatives and the Department.

QFES members won an AO2 & AO3 Review!

Your union delegates have been raising concerns about your classifications and advocating to ensure that you are paid properly for the work that you do every day to keep Queenslanders safe and support critical emergency services running. After three years, QFES has agreed to start a review of the classifications of AO2 roles in QFES & AO3 roles in SES. Click here to see the letter from Commissioner Greg Leach.
