Briefing for Corrections next Wednesday

Posted by Together Queensland on July 14, 2021

Because you are a strong union and keep representing issues the Department have been kept discussing settlement options, while there is still no outcome for the wages case.

Here is a final copy of the summary of conversations.

You are not reliant on Courts or Commissions alone. Your ability to act as a strong collective can change things for you at work.

You need to have a strong voice and be united. That's why your genuine feedback matters! While there have been conversations there is still no formal offer from the Department– if there is any offer only you, as union members, will have a say on that.

There will be a Zoom Town hall meeting next Wednesday, 21 July to provide further details and answer questions regarding the summary. Please register for that event here.
