Reporting an excessive workload issue

While Together members continue to seek a caseload cap as part of our arbitration process, the Workload Management Manual (WMM) is currently being implemented across the state. At this point, the WMM is for Ongoing Intervention (OI) CSOs, though the intention is to eventually cover all Child Safety workgroups.

As per the WMM, if an OI CSO has a workload weighting in excess of 110, this matter must be escalated. This data is reported centrally at Regional and Agency Consultative Committees; however, this may be months after an issue is identified

Together members are encouraged to report their excessive workload weightings directly (and immediately) to the union office for assistance and record-keeping.

Please remember – do not provide any identifying information regarding specific cases.
