HALL PAYNE LAWYERS 2012 NRL Footy Tipping Competition for union members - Round 28

Posted September 13, 2012 by Together Queensland

Was your team in the first round of the final series? I really didn't expect the Broncs to get this far, so I was philosophical about it as I howled at the tv. But hey I scored an autographed Petro jersey, so it wasn't a complete disaster.

Round 28 is upon us with these matches coming up this round:

National Rugby League Round 28
14/09/12 19:45 - 15/09/12 19:45 (AEST)

Sea Eagles vs Cowboys Allianz Stadium - 19:45

Rabbitohs vs Raiders ANZ Stadium - 19:45

So if you haven't put your tips in yet have a think about who's going to win and remember that tipping on the first game for Round 28 closes on Friday 14/09/12 at 19:35 (AEST).

Weekly prize
The first three tippers to tip every game right in a round score a $20 voucher.  Ricky - QHealth and two other tippers scored the $20 prize last round.

Prize draw
Next round is a prize draw round, where one tipper will be randomly drawn from the AFL and NRL competitions to win a $50 prize.

ME Bank slashes one and three-year fixed rates to 5.39% p.a.

This makes ME Bank’s one and three-year fixed rates the lowest currently available . The new one and three-year fixed rates are the lowest ME Bank has ever offered across its entire home loan range, since becoming a bank in 2001.

Mr. Jamie McPhee, ME Bank Chief Executive Officer, said the new one and three-year fixed rates are the lowest available on the market and are available to eligible industry super fund and Union members.

“Economic uncertainty has driven down the cost of funding for fixed home loans and as part of ME Bank’s fairer approach to banking we’ve passed on this saving to our customers – members of industry super funds and unions,” Mr. McPhee said. “The decision allows members of industry super funds and unions to lock in the most competitive rates available on the market, giving them security during times of continuing economic uncertainty.
