Have your say – HP Bargaining Meeting

Posted October 17, 2014 by Together Queensland

Dear Members,

For months we have been negotiating with management about our wages and conditions and the Mater’s position remains to reduce significant conditions and entitlements for HPs.

Across the Mater, Together members are rejecting the offer from management and having our say on fair wages and conditions. You can have your say here!

To get a better offer, one that we can accept, will take action by members - and our colleagues joining us in this fight.

Join me and the rest of the HP campaign committee to discuss the next steps for us to win.

Date: 21 October 2014
Time: 12:00 Midday
Location: Mater Childrens Hospital, Room 3.1

Invite your colleagues to attend this meeting to find out what is at stake and why they should join our union. You can also email the union office to organise a meeting for your group of HPs.

For allied health members please also contact the Union office (1800 177 244 or health@together.org.au) with any feedback or queries about the allied health review departmental proposals for Audiology, OT, Speech Pathology and Social Work.

Yours in union,

Sagie Pillai
On behalf of the Together HP Steering Committee

PS – Queensland Health HPs are also in negotiations right now and considering taking action. Don’t be confused between the two surveys and processes as they are separate. Mater Children’s staff may be interested in both processes if they are considering roles at the LCCH.
