Urgent onsite union meeting, building a better LCCH

Posted on December 15, 2014

It's been a hard couple of weeks for our members working at LCCH, and many of you are still working tirelessly to fix the "teething problems" from the LCCH opening.

While the media reports that the government decided to open the hospital before it was ready, the coverage is also making clear that you and your colleagues are working together to go above and beyond for patients and their families.  Well done everyone.

Since the moment these problems became apparent, your Union representatives have been working with members to address these with management.

Your delegates will be meeting with Hospital management this Wednesday morning at 9am to present a list of problems from the opening and discuss how to fix those issues that are still ongoing.

You can have your say by providing your feedback.  What have you seen since the opening that has concerned you?  What is making it harder for you to do your job?  You can email health@together.org.au or call 0420 795 986.

We are calling an urgent Together meeting onsite at LCCH.  At this meeting we will provide a brief update on current issues, report back to you about the meeting with LCCH management, and to discuss how things are going for you at Lady Cilento.
