Take a moment for Townsville

Posted January 16, 2013 by Vivienne Doogan

We know that Campbell Newman's government is hurting our economy, now they have attacked Townsville Hospital, cutting jobs and hurting services.

On Friday I'll be standing with local residents and members of unions telling the government that attacks on our health services are not on - will you join me?

Thousands of jobs are going and the economy is suffering. Regional Queensland is being hit hard, but the Newman government still refuses to listen to the voice of the community, pointing fingers and casting blame while refusing to accept responsibility for their actions.

RSVP for the rally here.

The rally will be outside Townsville Hospital this Friday 18 January, starting at 12:30 pm. If you are going on your lunchbreak, you might like to take your lunch with you.

Spread the word, tell your friends -  together we can send a strong message in support of jobs and services in Townsville.

Hope to see you there!

PS. RSVP for the rally and bring your friends here.
