Reform of Vocational Education and Training

Posted December 12, 2011 by Alex Scott

Now is the chance for you to have your say  on reform of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.

Recently, the federal government VET agency, DEEWR (in conjunction with Queensland's DET) held a consultation in Brisbane regarding the reform of the VET system - including the revised National Agreement of Skills and Workforce Development.

The Queensland Council of Unions will be making a submission to DEEWR in response to these issues, and you are invited to make your own suggestions to the union office via email on afb@together.org.au

We are asking for your feedback to be returned to the union office by next Monday, 19 December.

Before making your contribution, you can read the terms and framing questions of the inquiry at http://www.qcu.asn.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=199&Itemid=110
