Hunter Review final report released

Posted June 15, 2015 by Heather Hayes

 Colleagues,

I am pleased to release the Hunter Review final report and recommendations.

The government and incoming Director-General have been briefed and I am currently finalising arrangements to support implementation of key recommendations from early July 2015. I anticipate being able to provide more information on this in the next few days.

Implementation will require appointment of Executive Sponsors, development of a business case for consultation with unions, as well as the establishment of implementation team/s to support the transition beyond 1 July 2015.

In the meantime, I encourage you to read the report and share your thoughts via the HunterReview@health.qld.gov.au. Your feedback will assist us in shaping both the business case for change and implementation plans.

Regards,

 Dr Michael Cleary

A/Director-General
