Mater Admin EB Update

Posted on March 23, 2017

Your delegates negotiating your agreement are at a critical point; your ability to reach agreement rests on the following 2 items:

1.      A wage increase

Your delegates and union office have told Mater management that you need a wage offer as negotiations are coming to a critical point and all offers on the table need to be considered.

Mater have advised that they will be in a position to present a wage increase offer at the next meeting.

Your delegates have said that no one should be worse off, that all staff should receive an equal wage increase, no matter if you are private or a public Mater staff member.

2.      Work Level Statements update

Mater is proposing to update the work level statements in your agreement and at our request Mater will be hosting a forum to discuss this with you and your colleagues.

Mater is going to be hosting a forum with staff to discuss the following:

a)      The classification structure

b)      Relevance of proposed Work Level Statements (WLS)

c)      Relevance of role descriptions to the process
