Important Update for Department of Communities Members

Posted December 22, 2011 by Alex Scott

2011 has been a massive year for the Department of Communities, and the value of the work done by all our Communities members has been proven time and time again this year!

The last Agency Consultative Committee meeting for 2011 considered a number of critical issues that have been raised in recent months by union members. These include: issues around rural and remote travel, regional structural changes in contract and funding management roles, 'Project 200' - currently underway in some Youth Justice centres, and changes to the state's workplace health and safety legislation. Once the minutes from this meeting have been confirmed next year, there will be further updates to members around these and other key issues.

In the meantime however, updates are available now on some other issues, so if any of the following issues affect you; please click on the links below for some important information:

Voluntary Separation Program - Restructures in SPPP
Growing Stronger Health Check process
South East Region Consultative Committees
CCSQ Workload Review - Project Ends
Secondments and Relinquishments - Improper Advice

From everyone in the Together Communities Team, we wish you a safe and happy Christmas.
