Contribute to the future of Queensland

Posted November 27, 2011 by Alex Scott

The debate between the Premier and Campbell Newman last Friday means that more and more people are going to be focusing attention on the best way to ensure Queenslanders get the quality services they deserve into the future.

Many of our members have already made a contribution at www.together.org.au/buildingblocks, the website where we discuss how to build on and improve Queensland's strong public sector services for the benefit of the whole community. Be sure to pass it onto your colleagues and coworkers as well.

You might also like to check out the Queensland Council of Unions' Charter for Working Queenslanders project at www.charterforqld.com.au

We all have a stake in our Queensland community, and we all have the ability to make a positive difference. Please make your contribution so that politicians can be reminded of what our state needs for a better future.

You can connect with fellow Together members on Facebook - www.facebook.com/togetherqueensland or Twitter - www.twitter.com/togetherqld.

We have also made changes to our main Together website - www.together.org.au - be sure to check that site out as well!

Reminder notice: The Together Queensland Annual General Meeting will be held on 1:00pm Tuesday 29 November 2011 at the Brisbane Convention Centre, Corner of Glenelg and Merivale Streets South Brisbane.

The financial statements and agenda are available.
