Finally! After months of drafting your new agreement with the added complications of Queensland Health raising shift work matters late, we have now a final draft of your collective agreement. In the coming weeks, you will have the opportunity to vote on your wages and conditions for the next 3 years. 


There has been some confusion reported to the union office and our delegates over the last fortnight from members about the status of enterprise bargaining following the announcement by the University on the 21 February to provide a 1.5% wage increase payable to Griffith staff effective from 29 April.

This was unexpected from the unions perspective who have been bargaining in good faith with Griffith management since late last year and making what we considered to be positive progress towards reaching a new enterprise agreement for our general staff members.


Planned reforms to Queensland's probation and parole system.

The implementation of these reforms will have an impact on your working lives, so it’s important union members have a say on how the changes are rolled out to make them the best they can be.

Happy International Women’s Day! Today we celebrate Together women and our commitment to women’s rights in the workplace and the community.

Women have fought and won their rights at work, home and in the community but still face inequality and discrimination. The gender pay gap and difficulty of career progression for women are still real issues for Together members in 2017.


Next year we negotiate again for a new certified agreement for Medical Officers. Right now we need to make sure we make the most of the current MOCA4 agreement and the improvements promised to you.
