DEWS Members Update

Dialogue has commenced between the department and our Union regarding the recently announced restructure program within the department including consultation about the transition of Queensland Water Commission staff into the department. Together Secretary Alex Scott and DEWS Council delegate Tony Collins met with the Director-General and other senior management representatives Wednesday to discuss the transition and the restructure generally.

It's time to celebrate the success of the HP Stronger together campaign (, which resulted in union members breaking the government's wages policy, maintaining and winning new conditions.
