9 days for HPDOs
Health Practitioners and Dental Officers have stood up before and this election is a chance for us to do that again. That's why we're forwarding you the email below from Kate Flanders and encouraging you to get involved.
Already, many Health Practitioners like you and I from around the state have been getting involved in local campaigns for jobs, services and why now more than ever putting the LNP last.
We know that we have the opportunity to shift the wages policy this election, and we know that when we stand together we are stronger. This election period is no different.
You might have seen the new ad by Dr Chris Davis on the Newman government's privatisation plans that threaten quality public care for our patients and to our working conditions.
There's only 9 days to go, let's make sure the voice of health practitioners and dental officers is heard loud and clear this election.
Email back here to get involved in activities this weekend and a campaign organiser will be in touch.
There's on the ground activities right up and down the state, including in regional centres that you can be part of. There's also the opportunity to share your story on the phone next week.

Subject: This weekend
"I went doorknocking for the first-time last weekend, it is easy and really powerful."
That's just one of the positive comments from a first time doorknocker from last weekend.
Last week over 100 of you or your colleagues came out in extreme heat to pound the pavement in the hopes of a better Queensland, to share your stories and to talk to residents about how they have an opportunity to stop the lies, stop the cuts and stand together for a better Queensland.
We made a difference, we doorknocked 1500 houses and changed minds, with more and more people committing to putting the LNP last. This can only happen with more conversations like that.
It's happening again this weekend and with 10 days to go until the election we need to make it even bigger.
For that to happen, we need YOU.
Here are the locations and details for activities this weekend:

Monday, 26 January
Australia Day Doorknocking Blitz - 10:30am - 12pm, various locations - click to RSVP & see more.
We have also been phoning undecided voters and I know in the calls I made last night I spoke to voters who were grateful to talk about why they were putting the LNP last this election, mostly because of the cuts and threat of privatisation.
We have one more weekend of doorknocking this weekend – there are opportunities to get involved on Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon and Monday morning at 10 different locations!
It was a privilege for me and the entire team to stand along with so many committed people doorknocking, sharing their stories and making change happen.
See you on the weekend.
See you out there, you're welcome to join for one or more days over the weekend!
Let's get to it.
Kate Flanders and the entire Together Doorknocking team
