EB9: Negotiations cancelled
Yesterday our negotiations with Queensland Health were cancelled at the last minute because QH negotiators were unwell. We wish them a speedy recovery.
What we need to do as a union now is make sure that our issues cannot be ignored or delayed any more.
The reality is that even if negotiations were on yesterday, I am not sure we would have really cut through. QH will continue to go through the motions and say "no" or "maybe" unless we give them a reason to sit up and listen.
I've been involved in many agreement negotiations as a delegate. If there is one thing I have learned it's that our arguments are good but our actions speak more clearly.
That's why we are considering asking you to vote on industrial action in the next few weeks. So are you up for it? What would you do to get QH to listen to us?
